Pyrefiends are Slayer monsters that require level 30 Slayer to kill. They can drop the rare Flameburst defender, which increases the power of the Frostbite dagger and the Hailstorm dagger, as well as enable the use of dual wield abilities within Daemonheim. They are found on all Dungeoneering floors.

As of 19 April 2012, Slayer monster frequency in Dungeons has been increased by nearly double, making Pyrefiends a far more common occurrence on attempted floors than they previously were.
