Purple dye detail

Purple dye is a dye made by combining blue dye and red dye. It is used for colouring capes, dying armour, and in some quests. The base dyes can be made with Aggie in Draynor Village.

It respawns to the north of the battlefield, near the Spirit tree, south of East Ardougne. This item can also be bought at Lletya for 6 gp. In order to access this shop at Lletya, one must have at least started the Mourning's Ends Part I quest.

  • You gain 2.5 Crafting experience if you use the dye on red or black capes.
  • Purple dye allows you to colour normal capes (NOT team capes) and some types of armour a purple colour.
  • Purple dye is necessary to complete the quest Land of the Goblins.
