Effect	Protection from Ranged attacks.

Protect from Missiles, or more commonly referred to as Protect from Ranged, is accessible at level 40 Prayer. When used, the player will become immune to all Ranged attacks used by monsters, and will receive a 40% damage reduction from other players' ranged attacks. This includes Dark bow special attacks, making it so that they hit a minimum of 3-3 with normal Arrows and a 4-4 with Dragon arrows. Players using this prayer activated will have an image of an arrow above their character.

On RuneScape Classic, this prayer blocked out both magic and ranged attacks from players with 100% effectiveness. NPCs did not attack with magic or ranged, making it useless in player-versus-monster combat.
