A Proselyte tasset is a piece of armour that can be bought from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador after completing the Slug Menace quest. It has the exact equivalent defence bonuses as an adamant plateskirt, but also offers +5 Prayer bonus. It is white with a dark gold trim.
This piece of armour is also part of the Proselyte Harness (f).
This piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Even though this armour is trimmed, it cannot be obtained from any treasure trail.
The tasset, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the Armour case of a Player-owned house.

[edit] Trivia
- When the Proselyte tasset was first brought into the game, it was not a members-only item, and it was worth a lot through the f2p community as a 'rare item'. This was a scam since no free-to-play player could wear them (f2p players cannot perform the required Slug Menace quest), so Jagex reclassified it as members-only on their next update. Due to this glitch, there are free players with Proselyte Tassets in their banks, unable to use them.
- Surprisingly, the tassets weighs 2 kg more than the platelegs version. As all other plateskirts are ligher than their counterpart, platelegs.
