Proselyte hauberk detail

A Proselyte hauberk is a piece of armour that has the exact equivalent defence bonuses as a mithril platebody, but also offers +8 Prayer bonus. It is white with a dark gold trim.

Members can buy this armour from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador after completing the Slug Menace quest. The quest is a requirement for wearing the hauberk, along with 30 Defence and 20 Prayer.

It cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Even though this armour is trimmed, players cannot obtain it from any Treasure Trail.

The hauberk, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the Armour case of a Player-owned house.

TriviaEdit

  • Both the Initiate hauberk and the Proselyte hauberk are erroneously referred to as a hauberks, which are actually long coats of chainmail armour. Being platemail, it would make more sense for them to be called cuirasses.
  • On 6 March 2012, the Proselyte hauberk was mistakenly not updated during the Armour Graphical Update. It was updated the day after, however.
