Pottery is the making of items from soft clay, using the Crafting skill to make them. These include:

• Pot
• Pie dish
• Bowl
• Plant pot
• Pot lid (The pot lid is for members only)

In order to craft pottery you have to follow the following steps:

• Method 1: Mining hard clay.

Mine some hard clay.

Get a vessel (bucket or jug) and fill it with water.

Create soft clay by using (water filled) vessel with clay.

• Method 2: Mining soft clay.

• Method 3: Buying hard clay.

Buy hard clay from the Grand Exchange or another player current price:135 coins update

Get a vessel (bucket or jug) and fill it with water.

Create soft clay by using (water filled) vessel with clay.

• Method 4: Buy soft clay.

Buy soft clay from the Grand Exchange or another player current price:256 coins update

Locate a potters wheel, and use the soft clay on the wheel.

Choose the item you wish to make.

Finally, use the unfired item with a pottery oven to make the finished product.
