|Examine||A delicious pork pie.|
Pork pie can be made by using 3 pieces of cooked bacon on a pie shell and cooking the resulting uncooked pork pie, requiring 74 Cooking and giving 210 experience. It heals up to 1080 life points depending on your Constitution level. It will boost your Farming level by 5 while restoring 5 Summoning points.
Note: Using a bacon stack of any type will not allow you to create a pork pie. It must be done entirely with single strips of bacon.
Surprisingly, despite using a pie dish/shell to make, the pie dish is not returned upon eating it like with other pies. The pork pie is also the only pie that is eaten in one bite. Although you gain a Summoning boost of +5 which is visible, this boost is merely an increase in Summoning points, and will not work to make pouches or summon familiars of a higher level than you could summon. This boost will also not allow you to catch animals (like baby monkeys) that you do not have the level requirement to raise. However, the boost can be used to open Summoning ancient effigies.
This boost is also the best Farming boost, providing a consistent +5 boost regardless of level. (The Stranger plant can only boost a maximum of +4 even at Level 99 Farming.) However, the item is quite hard to obtain over the Grand Exchange.
- Before 8 October 2013, the Pork pie was the only pie that could not be cooked by using the Bake Pie spell.
