The Pie dish is an item that players use to make pies using the Cooking skill. Players can make a pie dish out of soft clay at level 7 Crafting to gain a total of 25 experience points[1]. It is possible that the pie dish may break whilst in the pottery oven.
Players can also collect pie dishes for free from respawns at Nurmof's Pickaxe Shop in the Dwarven Mine, the Varrock Palace kitchen, on the second floor of the Cooks' Guild and one each on the first and second floor of Caleb's house in Catherby (the house with the range and sink). An infinite supply of pie dishes is also available from the shelves in the kitchen of a player-owned house, provided the player has installed at least Oak shelves 2.
Players can also buy pie dishes from Frenita's Cookery Shop in Yanille or from the Culinaromancer's Chest (basement of the Lumbridge Castle - Members only) for 3 coins each, or on the Grand Exchange. They are no longer sold at most general stores. However, Beefy Bill still sells pie dishes for 3 coins each.
A pie remains in the dish until consumed, but a burnt pie can be emptied out, leaving the player with an empty pie dish afterwards.
