Pharaoh's sceptre

The Pharaoh's sceptre is a rare item obtainable from the Grand Gold Chest or the Sarcophagus in each room during the Pyramid Plunder minigame in Sophanem. When you obtain it you will be ejected from Pyramid Plunder. The Pharaoh's sceptre is a two-handed magic weapon that provides Magic defence and attack bonuses, and a considerable Strength bonus for a magic weapon. In addition, the sceptre stores 3 teleports to 3 pyramids in the Kharidian Desert. Teleporting by using this sceptre works up to level 30 wilderness.

[edit] Recharging

When the sceptre's charges are empty, players may recharge it by using it on the Mummy in the Pyramid Plunder minigame. It is recommended that players use two charges, and teleport to Pyramid plunder to recharge if needed, saving time. In order to recharge, players should either "use" the sceptre on the Mummy or talk to him with the uncharged sceptre in the inventory. He will complain about the player owning it, but will go ahead and recharge it anyway. It is also recommended that players use the gold artefacts to recharge their sceptre because it takes less time.

He will recharge it for any of the following reward items from the minigame:

Note that the ornaments cannot be traded as bank notes.

[edit] Trivia

  • If the player tries to sell the sceptre to Simon Templeton, he will offer to buy 'this coloured stick thing' for 100 gp, as it, "looks fake" to him. The character will refuse to sell it to him, even after much pestering by him.
