Pernix gloves are part of the Pernix armour set, obtainable by killing Nex. They require 80 Defence and 80 Constitution to be worn.

The gloves last for a duration of 10 hours of combat before degrading completely, and then may be repaired by Bob in Lumbridge or at a Player-owned house armour stand. It should be noted that the gloves do not degrade in increments, and their stats stay the same until the 10 hours is up. It costs 200,000 coins to have the gloves repaired at Bob's Brilliant Axes, or 100,000 coins at an armour stand with 99 Smithing.

Wearing these gloves or any other piece of the ancient armour will make all factions in the God Wars Dungeon unaggressive, with the exclusion of those in the ancient prison, who still remain aggressive.

The only gloves to beat these stat-wise are Tracking gloves but to get the damage bonus of full Pernix these are required.

When received with CoinShare active, the Pernix gloves will be dropped as 120 Pernix gloves shards split evenly among the players and sent directly to their banks. If there is an uneven player count using coinshare for the drop, it will give the extra shards split to the players with higher LSP (Loot Share Percentage). 120 shards can be combined to create this item.

Trivia

• Whenever Nex drops a piece of Torva, Pernix, or Virtus armour, a server wide announcement is broadcast to all players currently logged into that particular world.
• On the day of release these gloves, along with all the other Nex boots and gloves, were not listed on the Grand Exchange.
• Before the Evolution of Combat, when worn, the gloves increased a player's maximum lifepoints by 25.
