Pendant of lucien [sic] is a pendant given to the player by Lucien. It is a members-only quest item used only during and after Temple of Ikov. It gives access to the north dungeon door in the main chamber under the temple since it is imbued with Lucien's courage. For reasons unknown, the centre gem is green when worn by males but red when worn by females. The pendant has no other known use. A damaged pendant of lucien is seen on a body of a Mercenary Axemen during While Guthix Sleeps. This pendant cannot be taken.

If lost during or after the quest, a player may regain the pendant by:

• Talking to Lucien in the pub in Ardougne north of the castle. After the While Guthix Sleeps quest, Lucien will be replaced by a Local Thug in the pub. Speak to him instead to receive the pendant.
• Talking to Lucien in his house just west of the Grand Exchange. After the While Guthix Sleeps quest, Lucien will be replaced by a Local Thug and Local Mage in the same house.
• Pick-pocketing Movario in the Dorgesh-Kaan South Dungeon. Level 80 Agility is required to reach Movario, this must be BEFORE YOU START While Guthix Sleeps

Trivia

• The symbol looks a lot like the Triforce from the Legend of Zelda series as well as the Armadyl pendant.
• Lucien's pendant and the Armadyl pendant look almost identical, however the Pendant of lucien's middle gem is green for males whereas it the Armadyl pendant's gem is silver on males. For females, both pendants have an identical red gem.
• "Lucien" is not capitalised in the item's name, even though "Lucien" is a name itself.
• Betty, who runs the Betty's Magic Emporium in Port Sarim, seems to wear the same pendant.
• Banker from Miscellania wears the female version of pendant, but he is male.
• Both versions of Lathas' amulet and the female version of the Pendant of lucien and the Armadyl pendant are all exactly the same in appearance. In one point, before the release of Underground Pass, Lathas' amulet looked exactly the same as the male version of the Pendant of lucien, as both sported a green gem. Today, the only way to tell if someone is truly wearing Lathas' amulet is if they are male and have the amulet on, as it is the only amulet out of the other two similar-looking pendants that has a red gem for males.
• In Runescape Classic, this item had the same model as a generic amulet, but was coloured black rather than gold. Due to the lack of variation and character customization in Classic, the unique black amulet was rather popular among members.
• The string attached to the pendent is thicker on males and thinner on females.
• When trying to reclaim the pendant after completing, Ritual of the Mahjarrat, the player will comment how the pendant seems to have more power than Lucien.
