Pack mule

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

(Redirected from Pack mules)

Pack mules are accounts used to store items for other players. They were used before banks were released in RuneScape. They are normally low level accounts that are either a trusted friend or a second account made by a player to hold their first accounts items. Using several of one's own accounts to store items for one account is against the rules, however. Pack mules normally hold sets of armour but have also been known to carry weapons and even coins. As soon as RuneScape Banks began stocking normal items as well as coins, then Pack Mules were made useless, though they were still used rarely by players, mostly free-to-play with limited bank space, until the trade limit update.

Pack Mules are now getting more used again since the Bounty Hunter release. Players are known to use two computers, one with their main account logged in and the other with their pack mule account, and let their main kill the pack mule to receive the items that the pack mule had. This is very annoying to do due to most level differences but people still manage to do it.
