The Outpost is the starting point of the Making History and Meeting History quests. It is just south-west of Lathas's Combat Training Camp. Jorral, a historian, can be found here.
After completing the making history quest, the outpost is changed into a little museum. The ground floor contains two display cases and a bookcase. In the first display case, you can find a shield used in the wars of the outpost. The second display case contains three items: a helm, a battleaxe and a pair of boots. The helm reveals to have been owned by Wally. He wore this helm in his fight with the demon Delrith. Oddly enough, in the cutscene from the demon slayer quest, Wally is not wearing the helm. The axe was worn by Arrav and the boots were worn by Randas before being corrupted by Zamorak's promises of glory. The bookcase contains three books: "The history of the outpost", "The Times of Lathas", and a book named "The Mysterious Adventurer". The first floor contains one display case, also with three items. The first one is a flag of Saradomin, the second item is a mace which came from the fourth age, and the third item is a flag with the symbol of Zamorak.
The outpost was the site of The Great Battle.
