An Ourg statue is found in Bandos' throne room during and after The Chosen Commander quest. During the quest, the player must climb on one of these statues. After the quest, one of each of these statues:
- Can be fought. At first, it appears to be just a statue. However, if the player attempts to climb on the statue, it will come to life and attack the player. It is the strongest of the four statues that can be found in the room.
- Is part of the agility course (the one holding a spear on the right side of Bandos' Throne).
- Is always just a statue (the one holding the bowl near the throne).
The Ourg statue can be safe-spotted by standing behind the throne and using Ranged, Magic, or a halberd. Due to the fact that there is only one attackable Ourg statue in the room, competition over the statue is common. Interestingly enough, due to the fact that the granite mace is not a rare or valuable drop, the Ourg statue does not seem to drop the mace more often than other statues.

[edit] Trivia
- Multiple ourg statues can appear, if a player takes too long to kill the first and another statue spawns. However, the second statue does not come to life until a player climbs on it.
- If several players attempt to climb on the ourg statue at the same time, a separate instance of the statue comes to life and attacks each player. (For example, if three players attempt to climb on the ourg statue at once, three ourg statues come to life.)
- It is possible to be "stuck" underneath one. To do this, you need to log out on top of a respawn point. Once you log back in, you will be stuck under the statue, and unable to move. It is unknown if this was intentional or not.
- Although it has a spear, it punches.
- As General Graador is an Ourg this statue resembles him. It has the same physical attacking, defending, and death animations as Graardor, but with a lower combat level, max hit, and hitpoints. It also doesn't have Graardor's range attack, and it wields a stone spear.
