An Ourg statue is found in Bandos' throne room during and after The Chosen Commander quest. During the quest, the player must climb on one of these statues. After the quest, one of each of these statues:
Can be fought. At first, it appears to be just a statue. However, if the player attempts to climb on the statue, it will come to life and attack the player. It is the strongest of the four statues that can be found in the room.
Is part of the agility course (the one holding a spear on the right side of Bandos' Throne).
Is always just a statue (the one holding the bowl near the throne).
The Ourg statue can be safe-spotted by standing behind the throne and using Ranged, Magic, or a halberd. If attacking without using the safe spot, Protect from Melee will reduce the statue's max hit to zero. Due to the fact that there is only one attackable Ourg statue in the room, competition over the statue is common. Interestingly enough, due to the fact that the granite mace is not a rare nor valuable drop, the Ourg statue does not seem to drop the mace more often than other statues.
