Ornament kits can be used on the relevant armour and amulets to change its appearance, and were released on 4 August 2010. The decoration can be removed and put back into its kit at any time. Ornament kits are tradeable, but the decorated items are not. You may not lend an item that has been decorated in such a way. Ornament kits can be obtained from an Elite Treasure Trail, another player, or bought on the Grand Exchange. Dragon kiteshield ornament kits can be looted from the King Black Dragon, and cannot be received from a Treasure Trail.

It is impossible to use two different kits on the same piece of armour; a Dragon platebody (sp) cannot have a Dragon platebody ornament kit (or) used on it, and vice versa.

• Dragon sq shield ornament kit (or), which adds trim to the Dragon sq shield
• Dragon sq shield ornament kit (sp), which adds spikes to the Dragon sq shield
• Dragon kite ornament kit (or), which adds trim to the Dragon kiteshield
• Dragon kite ornament kit (sp), which adds spikes to the Dragon kiteshield
• Fury ornament kit, which adds trim to the Amulet of fury
