An Onyx ring is made by using a gold bar, an onyx and a ring mould on a furnace. It requires a crafting level of 67 and provides 115 experience when made.
Grum's Gold Exchange in Port Sarim doesn't buy or sell Onyx rings, necklaces, or amulets.
The onyx ring can be enchanted into a Ring of Stone by members through the use of the Enchant Level 6 Jewellery spell. The ring is not often enchanted though since a onyx ring costs millions more then a ring of stone. It can also be imbued into an onyx ring (i) at the mobilising armies minigame.
As of 3 September 2009, one piece of onyx costs 2.7M Tokkul. It would take countless hours of selling runes at 50 a click, making it no longer a worthwhile prospect, hence Runescape will notice a drop in the number of onyx rings in the game and a huge increase in price.
WARNING: The (i) version of this ring protects over many items, including the Godswords.
