Off-hand crossbows are crossbows that players may use in their left hand, which would otherwise be used for shields. This allows players to dual-wield crossbows for more attacks and damage in less time, but for the risk of less defence. Similar to normal crossbows or 2h crossbows, these require bolts as ammunition.
