Nuggets are pieces of gold found at the Digsite when panning with a panning tray. If you bring 3 of them to the archaeological expert, he will trade one gold ore for them. In RuneScape Classic, gold ores were also referred to as nuggets due to the fact that they were in the shapes of nuggets instead of ore.
