New Varrock Tasks are tasks completed in New Varrock, first accessed upon starting the Dimension of Disaster quest. The Taskmaster for this task set is Tiny Zemouregal, found near the fountain in the centre of Varrock. Rewards for completing the tasks in the set at each level include Zemomarks, the currency of New Varrock, and upgrades to Varrock armour. Completing these tasks is a requirement for the Completionist cape. The tasks only need to be done once; replaying the quest will not reset your progress on the tasks.
Cook some meat from an undead source ( cow or chicken )
Visit the cow pen in southeast New Varrock, kill a cow, and take the dropped meat to a range in one of the houses just west of the pen.

They Had a Gudrun
Find a way to silence Romeo, in Zemouregal's Study.
Bring cadava berries to the Apothecary to create a cadava potion (a potion that makes it seem like I'm dead). Cadava berry bush can be found near the entrance of Apothecary's house. Then bring this potion to the hanging heads in Zemouregal's study inside of his castle (requires a vial of orange mist to enter).
Smith or craft a piece of level 10 armour ( iron, imphide or hardleather; head, body or legs. )
Create any piece of a level 10 armour. An easy way to complete this is to obtain a needle and thread along with hard leather by tanning cow hide, and craft the hardleather into any piece of armour.

Notes
They Had a Gudrun - Romeo can be found in Zemouregal's study, which is the north-west room on the ground floor of the castle. Romeo is one of the heads hanging on a chain just west of the entrance of the room. To silence him, speak to the apothecary about a potion that makes you 'death-like'. The cadava berries are found just outside the apothecary building.
A Cat's Bane - Requires you to help the 4 cats located around New Varrock. These are Catbot 9000, Baron Mauser, Grumps and 'Fraidy Cat.
Catbot 9000 is located next to the bot announcer at the east bank and requires you to bring him a doogle leaf from Xuan's shop.
'Fraidy cat is found just east of Gertrudes house and requires you to bring him the book "Necrofelinomicon" that can be found by searching the alter slab inside the Zamorak temple in south east Varrock.
Grumps is located in the Zamorakian Temple and requires you to bring him the sardine that is upstairs in Gertrudes house.
Baron Mauser can be found on the 2nd3rd floor[UK] of the church and requires you to bring him a bucket of curdled milk from the undead dairy cow just east of the east bank.
Once all four have agreed to leave their location, you can find them at Fluff's grave at the West wall beside the West bank.

After opening the Vault outer door on the 1st2nd floor[UK] in the castle there are three paintings on the northern wall, click on them to deface. (search boot locker for vault key)
Whip up a batch of 'Zemouregal brew' for Tiny Zemouregal. Made with a doogle leaf, vial of water and Wine of Zemouregal.
Get the Wine of Zemouregal from the southwest room on ground1st floor[UK] in the castle.Buy a doogle leaf from Xuan and combine it with a vial of water. Add the Wine of Zemouregal and talk to Tiny Zemouregal.

Steel, Stud or Silk Salute
Perform the Salute emote while wearing a full set of level 20 armour in New Varrock. (Steel helm, body and legs OR spider silk hood, robe top and bottoms OR leather coif, studded body and studded chaps.
Purchase the Sani and Zaff Shop Upgrade reward from Gypsy Aris, then simply reset the quest and buy 7 Spider Silk from Zaff's Shop. You can then craft the full set of robes yourself, no killing of guards needed.
Alternatively, you can get drops from New Varrock guards, or have the items traded (lent) from other players.

The Moo-er of All Bombs
When fighting Zemouregal in Curse of Arrav, damage him at least five times with exploding cows.
After destroying all portals lure the cows to Zemouregal. If one is having trouble with the zombies, in particular the New Varrock Guard zombies, run around the arena until they stop going after you. Try to use shield abilities to heal or other abilities, if unlocked, that heal; Balanced strike is very useful here, especially against New Varrock Guard zombies as it does tremendous healing. Healing orbs can be collected from killing weaker zombies: normal or armed ones.
Dark Imperatorment - The Loarnab display has a red button next to it, simply go through all four options to complete the task.
Steel, Stud or Silk Salute - The fastest method is to purchase the Sani and Zaff Shop Upgrade reward from Gypsy Aris, then simply reset the quest and buy 7 Spider Silk from Zaff's Shop. You can easily craft the full set of robes yourself using this method, no killing of guards needed. Alternatively, armor can be gained by killing New Varrock Guards. It may be fastest to use Ranged equipment to complete this task, as a Steel bar can be used to create Steel studs, which are also dropped by New Varrock Guards. The Coif can also be made immediately without the need for any Steel studs.

The "They had a Gudrun" task refers to "Gudrun", a central NPC from the Gunnar's Ground quest, which replaced the Romeo and Juliet quest.
