Nettles are the key ingredient in Nettle tea. Nettles can do up to 6 points of poison damage, although the player does not get poisoned. This sometimes makes players think they are poisoned, when they are not. Notice there is no "You have been poisoned" line in the chatbox if you are affected.
If players want to pick them, they must wear gloves to avoid being damaged. A pair of leather gloves conveniently respawns just south of Edgeville bank. Note that Santa Gloves will not work. There is a nettle patch within the Yew trees section of Edgeville. A nettle patch can also be found on the south and east sides of the Draynor Village jail and on the east side of Draynor Manor. A third and last batch of nettle patches can be found south of the entrance of Fenkenstrain's Castle.
