The Necrosyrtes were a race which Fairy Aeryka claims to have invented dragon metal[1], as opposed to the Mahjarrat or Dragonkin. No other mention is made of Necrosyrtes, so very little is known about them.
Necrosyrtes is a genus of vulture, so these beings are probably the Dragonkin, since they used to be physically similar to vultures before their graphical update. In the nineteenth Postbag[2], one of the letters, answered by a Green dragon, also says that "The very weapons that make you strong bring Kin's return ever closer", another hint that the Dragonkin made dragon metal, as they also created dragons.
