A Mystic mud staff is the most powerful mud elemental staff. It requires 40 Attack and Magic to wield. It has the autocast option, which can be used for all of the elemental combat spells, and provides an unlimited amount of water and earth runes, both of which are used in curse spells. To create one, a player must take a mud battlestaff to Thormac after completing the Scorpion Catcher quest, along with 40 000 coins. Also worth noting is that it is the only mystic staff that doesn't conform to the normal 'brown stick' design. The staff is also cheaper than the mud battlestaff, because of its higher requirements, making it a reasonable choice for those who can wield it. Visually, the Mystic mud staff is identical to the mud battlestaff.
