A Mystic air staff is the most powerful air elemental staff. It requires level 40 Attack and level 40 Magic to wield. It has the autocast option, which can be used for all of the elemental combat spells, and provides an unlimited amount of air runes. To create one, take an air battlestaff to Thormac after completing the Scorpion Catcher quest, along with 40 000 coins. Visually the Mystic air staff is identical to the staff of air and the air battlestaff. Interestingly enough, the mystic staves and battlestaves hold a less favorable description: "It's a slightly magical stick," compared to the less powerful elemental staves.
