Motherland

The Motherland is the ancestral homeland of the sentient penguins that feature in the Cold War quest. At the time, it is inaccessible.

Little is known of the Motherland. It is known to be somewhere north of the Fremennik Province, perhaps somewhere in the largely unexplored Lunar Sea. It is also possible that it is in Acheron, which few but the Fremenniks have ever explored.

In the quest Hunt for the Red Raktuber, Larry is taken to the motherland by the penguins.
