Morrigan's javelin is a part of the Morrigan's Equipment, obtained from killing Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon and as a very rare drop from the Chaos Elemental. The normal version requires level 78 Ranged to use.
If players receive this as a drop, they are strongly recommended to bank as they could lose all (or all but one), depending on prayers and if other carried items are worth more.
The ratio of losing a javelin after shooting is approximately 1:5, but this is rumoured to be decreased gradually with an increase in the player's Ranged level.
Contrary to popular belief, this item does not degrade while using non-combat magic. As this is a Ranged weapon, the only way to "degrade" it is by throwing it at the enemy.

- Before the Evolution of Combat this weapon used to have a special attack, which was something like that of the old Dragon claws special. The special was called Phantom Strike, and it would deal random damage onto the enemy. For example, if you hit a 421 on a target, it would deal 421, then 50 eight times and then a 21. It would only work on PvP situations however.
- Aviansies used to wield this weapon, but after their graphical update, they no longer do so.
