Morchella mushroom spores can be grown into Morchella mushrooms in the Canifis and Isafdar mushroom patches. This requires a farming level of 74, giving 160 experience for planting the seed and 77.7 experience per mushroom harvested. Harvesting from a mushroom patch gives 9 mushrooms (18 with Morytania Elite Tasks), instead of 6 from Bittercap mushrooms. Morchella Mushrooms take 4 hours to grow, and cannot be watered. These mushrooms can be used to make prayer renewal potions, requiring 94 Herblore.
There is no nearby gardener at both patches to watch over your growing morchella mushrooms, but after completing the Medium Tasks in the Morytania set, the mushroom patch in Canifis will no longer become diseased. Usage of the patch in Isafdar requires completion of the Medium Tirannwn tasks, this patch however cannot be protected in any way.
Morchella mushroom spores can be obtained as a reward from Evil Trees, bird's nests, or looted from Master Farmers. They are also dropped by an array of monsters and can be obtained from treasure trails.
