Mithril sq shield detail

A Mithril square shield is the fourth strongest square shield in RuneScape. A player with level 58 Smithing can make the shield by using two mithril bars on an anvil while carrying a hammer, granting 100 Smithing experience. This shield can also be bought at Cassie's Shield Shop in northern Falador. It is also dropped by Bloodvelds, Ice Giants, Fire Giants, Cockroach workers, Lesser Demons, Mountain trolls and Werewolves. This shield provides less defence than the Mithril kiteshield, but is much lighter. As with all Mithril pieces of armour, it requires 30 Defence to wield.

If wielding a Staff of fire, costs of casting high level alchemy on this item are as follows: Each cast of High Level Alchemy costs 110 coins with the Staff of fire, and these are bought on the Grand Exchange for 707 gp, each. Each shield alchemized makes a net value of 119 gp.
