The Mithril spear is a two-handed melee weapon. It is members only, and can only be used in combat. It can be poisoned to produce either a Mithril spear (p) (using regular Weapon poison), Mithril Spear (p+) (using extra strong weapon poison, or Mithril spear (p++) (using super strong weapon poison.
It can be bought from other players or received as a monster drop. It is dropped by blue dragons, Giant frogs, moss giants, and Basilisks. Players who have started learning Barbarian smithing and have level 55 Smithing may produce a spear at a Barbarian anvil from one mithril bar and one maple log, receiving 100 smithing experience.
