The Mithril hasta is a one handed melee weapon, similar to the spear. It is member's only and can only be used in combat. To wield this weapon the player needs at least 20 Attack. To obtain a mithril hasta the player can either create one using the Smithing skill or trade with another player. The mithril hasta can be poisoned to make Mithril hasta(kp).

To create and wield a mithril hasta the player needs to have completed training with Otto Godblessed, have at least 55 Smithing, some maple logs, a mithril bar and a hammer in their inventory. The player then needs to use the bar on the anvil to make the mithril hasta. This will grant the player 100 Smithing experience.
