[edit] Walkthrough
- Talk to Leela in Draynor about a pyramid in the region of Uzer. She wants to resurrect a mummy in a region south of Uzer in a pyramid called the "Uzer Mastaba".
- Go to the pyramid (Fairy ring D-L-Q) and go east to enter inside (Another option is to go through the Shantay Pass and take a carpet to Uzer. If using this option, use the recommended glory amulet - used to get to Draynor - to teleport to Al-Kharid)
- Visit all the rooms and rummage all the Skeletons. They will rise up and turn into level 41 Skeleton looters, which will become aggressive and attack you. Killing each one will provide different items. The items needed from the Skeleton looters are: A Canopic jar, a Pyramid journal, a Scroll of the dead and a Mummy hand. It is suggested that you keep all of the items that they drop, as it saves you time from needing to bank. The item you need to get is the Scroll of the dead, and you can leave the rest of the skeleton looters for later.
- None of the items found on the ground (Useless ration boxes, Tatty bag, Defective spades, Shattered axes, Sub-optimal lantern, and Suboptimal flask) are needed to complete the quest, but it's helpful if you investigate them so you can confront Ali Morrisane later.
- Return to Leela and she will tell you that you need to reconstruct the mummy's body to 75% as well as find out her identity and reform her shadow.
Items you need to finish this part:
Saw, Hammer, Prayer potion, Willow log, knife, 20 fire runes, pot, grain, jug of wine and spice. This way you can restore the Tome completely without having to come back.
[edit] Collecting objects
- Talk to the Golem's remains in the passage to the east. He will mention a curse that turns all those who loot the pyramid into skeletons.
- Head north-west, open the imposing door, and talk to the Golem Guard guarding the stairs. He will say nothing useful and prevents access to the Pharaoh Queen's tomb, so you will have to kill him. He can only be damaged by crush attacks. If you don't have a weapon with crush attacks, it is possible to defeat him unarmed.
- Descend down to the second level. There are level 41 small scarabs wandering around that are aggressive to you despite your combat level, so protect from melee is useful, but not entirely needed here.
- Head down the east and west passages to collect three more Canopic jars (You will need all 4 Canopic jars later) and the Mummy with no hand.
- Combine this with the Mummy hand to get Senliten's mummy. (Combining them is not necessary, but it saves inventory space)
[edit] Floor Puzzle
- NOTE: You can take serious damage if you're not careful - damage can be 15 to 25 easily.
Find a way over the Floor Puzzle to the Tomb. This puzzle is different for every player, and changes with every visit. The easiest way to get through this puzzle, is to try and find a path of blue and green blocks or red and yellow blocks all the way through, as this will result in no damage.
| Stepping on a | blue stone raises the red tiles. Not dangerous. | |

| green stone raises the yellow | ||

| Stepping from | green to red triggers a trap. Players can take damage. | |

[edit] Restoring the Tomb
Right-click the Pyramid Journal or the Scroll of the Dead and select the Check progress-option, this shows the percentage of completed actions and the quantity of remaining actions. The quest completion requires 75% complete, though continuing beyond that rewards more experience.
[edit] Body
- Place the Senliten's mummy (or Mummy hand and Mummy with no hand if you didn't combine them) back into the sarcophagus by left clicking on the sarcophagus (2/6, 8% completion).
- Place the all 4 Canopic jars onto the empty shelves to the west (1/6, 4% completion each).
[edit] Spirit
- Pray at each of the 'Broken statues' to restore them. Restoring all statues drains a total of 70 prayer points and gives a total of 6,500 Prayer experience (1/5, 4% completion each statue).
- Note: Amascut's altar will boost your prayer up to 4 points over maximum at the cost of 3HP per prayer point; the other altars restore prayer normally. You cannot recharge prayer points from statues until all statues are recovered.
[edit] Shadow
- Go into the eastern chamber and kill the level 41 Tumeken's shadow for 300 magic xp (1/5, 4% completion).
- Next light four 'Enchanted sconces'. Note: Each brazier requires 5 fire runes to light. The required Magic level starts at 20, and increases by 5 for each brazier. Examine before lighting: This will require magical means to ignite it. After lighting: Flaming through the application of magic.
- Light the southern enchanted sconce, requiring level 20 Magic. Tumeken's shadow appears again, with a combat level of 50. Kill the shadow to receive 600 Magic experience (1/5, 4% completion).
- Light the northern enchanted sconce. The shadow (now level 55) appears again. Kill it to receive 900 Magic experience (1/5, 4% completion).
- Light the western enchanted sconce. A level 64 spirit will spawn. Kill it to receive 1,200 Magic experience (1/5, 4% completion).
- Finally, light the eastern enchanted sconce. Tumeken's shadow appears for the last time, being level 72. Kill it to receive 2,000 Magic experience (1/5, 4% completion).
[edit] Body double
- Repair the table and chair with a hammer and a saw. This rewards 2,100 Construction experience (1/6, 4% completion).
- Make some spiced wine by adding spice into a jug of wine. Put the spiced wine onto its space (1/6, 4% completion).
- Put a pot of grain (not a pot of flour, use grain on an empty pot) onto its space. This rewards 2,100 Cooking experience (1/6, 4% completion).
- Build the statue with a Willow log and a knife (450 crafting xp, 1/6, 4% completion).
- Click on the statue to create it (900 crafting xp, 1/6, 4% completion).
- Click on the statue to improve it (2000 crafting xp, 1/6, 4% completion).
You can return to Leela and complete the quest after being 75% complete.

[edit] Total Restoration
Completing the restoration of the mummy's tomb yields no additional rewards except for new information from the queen. It is, however, a requirement for The Curse of Arrav, so if you plan to do that quest, you should complete the tomb.
[edit] Personality
- Go to Ali Morrisane and talk to him about the tomb, he will explain that he sent the Bandit looters to get loot, but when they came back with just documents, he sent them back to get gold, sold off some of the documents to Reldo, used some to create Al kharid fliers, and kept the rest. Before going to Reldo, run just north of Ali and talk to Ali the Leaflet Dropper and pick up an Al kharid flyer.
- Travel to Reldo and talk to him about the documents. In return for an Al Kharid flyer will give you a scroll of praise.
- Give the scroll of praise to the Pharaoh Queen and she will remember who she is.
[edit] Name
- Talk to Ali Morrisane about the tomb, he will mention about a document that no-one will be able to persuade him to give away or get rid of it. Give him any Sq'irk juice obtained from the Sorceress's Garden minigame, in return for the Copied name papyrus. You will also receive the usual thieving experience you would get from Osman.
- This papyrus alone isn't enough, you will need to use the Ring of charos(a) to persuade him to give you the original document, so next time you talk to him with the ring equipped, he will give you the Mummy's name papyrus.
- Give both pieces to the Pharaoh Queen and she will have her full name.
You should now be at 100% completion. Well done!
[edit] Music
Music tracks unlocked:

[edit] Trivia
- On the day of release, the spoiler read: "As one might expect, the rewards are a mystery, even to the enlightened. Please check back tomorrow."
- The uninviting hole in the eastern area with the Small Scarabs leads to a multi-combat dungeon with many more scarabs. By clearing the rubble from the other hole, a shortcut can be made, leading from the eastern passage on the top floor, back to the eastern scarab room.
- The items that can be found inside the pyramid are from AMCE which is a pun on the fictional ACME company in the cartoon series Looney Tunes. The acronym "AMCE" stands for "Ali Morrisane Commercial Enterprises", as seen in the Lift manual for the scaffolding device in Royal Trouble.
- The Pharaoh Queen uses a new term for the Mahjarrat, calling them the Stern Judges.
- After repairing the statues of the deities, whenever they come back into your view from a distance, they undergo the repairing animation that was shown when you first restored them.
- This quest is part of the Mysteries of the Mahjarrat quest series. When it was released, Jagex stated:
- “While it might not seem like it initially, this quest is actually part of the same quest series as Tale of the Muspah; this one just approaches things from a very different direction, so it’s probably not entirely clear how things fit together yet.”
- — Jagex[1]
- Inside the pyramid, the High Level Alchemy spell, Low Level Alchemy spell and the Explorer's ring low alchemy spell are disabled.
