The Mightiest turoth is an especially strong Turoth. The Mightiest turoth can only be fought during the Desert Slayer Dungeon miniquest, after Smoking Kills.
Killing the Mightiest turoth gives the player a reward of 1,000 slayer experience. If the player kills the Mightiest turoth during a task of regular turoths, 391 xp is added to the 1000 from killing it. However, if the player's current task is turoths, then the 15% combat bonus of the (Full) Slayer helmet, Black mask, Hexcrest and Focus sight is in effect, as well as the Mightiest Turoth counting toward the task. It is immune to the effects of stuns.
Like all Turoths, the Mightiest turoth is immune to all damage not dealt via a Leaf-bladed spear, a Leaf-bladed sword, Broad arrows, Broad-tipped bolts, or the Slayer Dart spell. The recommended strategy for fighting the Mightiest turoth is to use Slayer Dart and Protect from Melee. It summons some Swarming turoths (level 98) to aid it.
Higher level players will have no problem fighting this monster with a melee weapon. Your prayer will completely protect you against the turoth and his guards.
