The Mightiest turoth is an especially strong Turoth. The Mightiest turoth can only be fought during the Desert Slayer Dungeon miniquest, after Smoking Kills.
Like all Turoths, the Mightiest turoth is immune to all damage not dealt via a Leaf-bladed spear, a Leaf-bladed sword, Broad arrows, Broad-tipped bolts, or the Magic Dart spell. The recommended strategy for fighting the Mightiest turoth is to use Magic Dart and Protect from Melee. It summons some Swarming turoth (level 89) to aid it.
Higher level players will have no problem fighting this monster with a melee weapon. Your prayer will completely protect you against the turoth and his guards.
Defeating the Mightiest Turoth grants the player 1000 slayer experience, regardless of his or her current task. The Mightiest Turoth is immune to poison as you can only fight it with leaf bladed spear/sword, slayer dart, or broad bolts/arrows which can't be poisoned.
