Metal boots are members only armour pieces in RuneScape that are worn in the Footwear slot. They are protective footwear, and can NOT be made with the smithing skill. All Metal boots (except White boots and Bandos boots) are dropped by Slayer monsters. However, Adamant boots are also dropped by Giant frogs, which are not Slayer monsters.
