Membership PayByPhone

Pay-to-play or P2P are players who subscribed using various methods of paying. One method of paying is known as PaybyPhone. PaybyPhone is where you are given a toll free number to call for a redeemable PIN. (Some phone companies may bill you even if it is toll free)

Firstly, you must have a Runescape account for which you can make it a Member. On the Runescape main page there is a clickable heading called Account. There is a sub-heading in Account called "Upgrade your Account". Click that heading and you will have to complete a survey type, information thing. Click on PayByPhone (Optional) then it will ask you for the number you are calling from. This must be from a home phone not a cell phone or a pay-phone. (You do not need to put 1 in front of the area code) You will then be given a toll free number you have to call. Once you call it will give you the option to hang up or continue. It should say something like this "To continue for the billing option wait for the beep. If you do not want to get billed hang up before the tone." Right after that, it will give you a PIN code. Copy that PIN code down and do NOT forget it. You should already be on the page where you enter you PIN in. Enter the PIN code and click "Finish". Wait for 5 minutes until your payment transaction completes.

If you cannot reach the toll free number hosted by Surfpin or whenever you call the line says it is busy contact Customer Support. If you live in an area where Surfpin is not hosted then tough luck. If you notice you do not become a member contact Customer Support.
