Megamastyx hide is a tier 9 Dungeoneering hide used to make Megaleather armour. Players can obtain the hide either by hunting or killing a Megamastyx or buying it from the Smuggler. Trapping is the most efficient method to gain hides. Killing the Megamastyx does not always yield hides, whereas trapping ensures a 100% drop of the respective hide.

The hide is also used as the secondary ingredient in creating Adept hoardstalker pouches with 85 Summoning.

Players can make the respective Megaleather armour with a needle and thread in the inventory and the requisite Crafting level:
