Mauritzio was a young conservationist who was a part of the Royal Rhinos event.
Daily, players could have visited either Mauritzio, or his partner conservationist, Trang, to be in with a chance of correctly answering a question related to rhinos. The event ran for fourteen days, thus making the total number of questions 14.
When a player answered three questions correctly, they would've received a white royal rhino. Alternatively, after answering seven questions correctly, they would've received a black royal rhino.

- Mauritzio used the same idle animation as Major Nigel Corothers.
- Both Mauritzio and Trang are real life members of the United Foundation for Wildlife, playing themselves.[1]
