A Maid is a servant whom players may hire at level 25 Construction. To do so, players must travel to a building in the north-eastern reaches of East Ardougne. Players must pay 1,000 coins to hire her and must pay every eight uses of her services. The maid is the second lowest servant, next to Rick. She is agoraphobic, which explains her refusal to go to the sawmill. To hire a new servant, players must fire their current one.

The Maid can perform a few services for home owners. They include:
- Bringing up to 10 Construction related items to or from the bank at a time.
- Serving players stew on request.

- Many players hire her if they are doing Evil Dave's section of Recipe for Disaster because she serves stew, an important aspect in making Evil stew to finish the sub-quest.
