A Mahogany table can be built in the table hotspot of the Dining Room in a player-owned house.

Mahogany tables are sometimes built using the Sacred clay hammer obtained from the activity Stealing Creation; these double the amount of experience and save money. At current Grand Exchange prices, it costs 13,956 coins to build a Mahogany table. This is 16.61 coins/XP (without a Sacred clay hammer).

Mahogany tables are currently one of the fastest methods to train construction at a reasonable cost and efficiency rating. The tables yield around 350,000-500,000 experience per hour for those who are not 100% focused on building. With the use of a Stealing Creation hammer players are able to receive a experience rate of 800,000 - 1,000,000 per hour.

Once Managing Miscellania is complete and owning Fremmenik sea boots 3 (completing the Fremmenik province hard tasks), flatpack mahogany tables may be sold to Advisor Ghrim for 1013 gp each. These proceeds will be added directly to your coffers. This, coupled with the ability to trade in 2 special mahogany logs to create an inventory of planks for free, makes it possible to turn a profit making mahogany tables provided you cut the mahogany logs yourself to get the special logs.
