Magic potions temporarily raise a player's Magic level by 5, that increases damage done by 3% per every level boosted over normal. (As of the 17 November 2009 update).

The data in this table is based on the Grand Exchange prices of the Vial of water, herb, and secondary ingredient(s). It is accurate assuming all three items are bought off of the Grand Exchange and the resulting potion is sold afterwards. After you make them sell them to the G.E.
