Lunar equipment

Lunar equipment is the ceremonial attire of the Moon Clan and is made by players during the Lunar Diplomacy quest, but may be kept afterwards. All armour and jewellery Lunar equipment require 65 Magic and 40 Defence to wear, and the staff requires 65 Magic to wield. After completion of the quest, the pieces of Lunar equipment may be bought from the Oneiromancer on the Lunar Isle. This armour rivals the Splitbark armour and Skeletal armour, and some players keep the quest incomplete so they can reobtain them for far less the price than what they must pay to reobtain them from the Oneiromancer (the cost is similar to Mystic robes). Players may not make the item again after they complete the quest.

It is arguable that the Female version of Lunar Torso looks more impressive than the male version. This is due to the fact that the shoulder plates on the Torso are bigger and stick out more, and that the waist is thinner, giving it a more combat- orientated look.

WARNING: These items will NOT show up under your gravestone.

These robes may be stored in a Magic Wardrobe in a player owned house.

It is interesting to note that the Lunar Equipment set has only slightly lower stats than the Mystic Robes in Magic Attack and Defence bonuses, though has more summoning defence, as well as Stab, slash, and crush defences, which the Mystic robes lack all together. Therefore, full Lunar Armour, with or without the staff, may be a better choice than Mystic Robes, though the defences will obviously be different if Lunar Staff is replaced with an Elemental staff or Ancient Staff.
