The Lost Pirate (aka Cap'n Hand) is a RuneScape random event. He will mistake the player for one of his shipmates and talk to the player. If the player ignores him, he will attack the player with a crossbow. He will usually do 4s or 3s if you ignore him. But if the player talks to him, he will give a reward to the player.

Cap'n Hand's name is a parody of the villain of Peter Pan known as "Captain Hook", referring to the hook he used in place of his hand after losing it to a crocodile. It could also possibly be a reference to Israel Hands, a character in Treasure Island.
