Lord Francis Kurt Handelmort plays a central role in the Tribal Totem quest, although he is never actually seen by players. He is the wealthiest man in Ardougne. He has a gardener and a two-story house which is guarded by level 44 dogs (Aggressive). The staircase is trapped so right click and investigate it before you go up or you end up in the sewers.

- Although the name "Lord Handelmort" sounds similar to the main villain (Lord Voldemort) from the Harry Potter book series, it is unknown whether this is a deliberate connection.
- Handelmort is an anagram of Motherland.
