The Longbow is the weakest longbow in RuneScape and can use arrows up to iron. Players can obtain this bow for free from Lowe's Archery Emporium in Varrock.

Members can make a longbow through the Fletching skill at level 10. First, a player must cut an unstrung longbow from logs, granting 10 Fletching experience. Then, the player must string the unstrung longbow with a bow string, granting 10 experience. Various inventory graphics for noted longbows were tweaked on 9 November 2009.
