The Lodestone Tasks are a set of tasks that were released on 13 March 2012 alongside the Lodestone Network update. There are a total of 11 tasks that can be completed in this set; one for each city Home teleport that can be unlocked. The Lodestone Tasks do not provide an item reward, unlike the area tasks.

No skill or quest requirements are needed to complete these tasks.

Currently, all Lodestone Network Tasks are marked as "Easy".

• Open Sesame - Activate the lodestone in Al-Kharid.

• Open Market - Activate the lodestone in Ardougne. (m)

• Beachhead - Activate the lodestone in Catherby. (m)

• At a Crossroad - Activate the lodestone in Draynor.

• Coming Like a Ghost Town - Activate the lodestone in Edgeville.

• Follow That Star - Activate the lodestone in Falador.

• Setting Sail - Activate the lodestone in Port Sarim.

• Find Enlightenment - Activate the lodestone in Seers Village. (m)

• Rite of Passage - Activate the lodestone in Taverley. (m)

• Welcome to Bartertown - Activate the lodestone in Varrock.

• Magical Mystery Tour - Activate the lodestone in Yanille. (m)

TriviaEdit

• There is a glitch that causes the task progress to display as 0/0 no matter how many lodestones are activated, as shown in the image above.
• The Yanille task, Magical Mystery Tour, is a reference to The Beatles' album, Magical Mystery Tour.
• The Edgeville task, Coming Like a Ghost Town, is a reference to a song by The Specials called Ghost Town. Also in RuneScape Classic Edgeville was called a ghost town.
• The Varrock task, Welcome to Bartertown, is a reference to the movie Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
• The Al Kharid task, Open Sesame, may be a reference to the Arabian theme of the area and the famous phrase of Ali Baba.
