Lily of the valley detail
Lilies of the valley

Lilies of the valley are wieldable flowers which give small bonuses to the player wielding them. They have been part of the Start of May events which has occurred in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2018. Their first appearance was on 28 April 2009. They only appear once a year and can be found everywhere on RuneScape. They can be picked infinite times and are never depleted.

The lilies may be smelled when wielded or when present in players' inventories. This performs a unique animation.

They can be given to another player with accept aid on by using them on the player, provided they aren't already holding one. This triggers the message "You give a lily of the valley to <player>." Receiving a lily of the valley this way gives the message "<player> has given you a lily of the valley."

Upon using a lily with a gravestone, players place the item on the ground and receive the message "That was very sweet of you." If used on player's own grave, a message "Whoever heard of bringing flowers to one's own grave?" appears instead.
