The Lesser reborn ranger monster is a part of the In Pyre Need quest where it is non-attackable. After the quest it becomes attackable and is aggressive towards players. It fights using throwing axes. Although attackable after the quest is completed, when attempting the Phoenix Lair Distraction & Diversion, this creature will not respawn in the usual manner after death, but only when you leave its cave and then return.
