Leather gloves are basic gloves worn on the hands that offer slight bonuses to Defence. Players can make these gloves through the Crafting skill at level 1 from soft leather, granting 13.75 Crafting experience. A player must have a needle and a thread to make them. They can also be found in the Varrock museum, on the wall of materials needed to clean the rocks.

Leather gloves can be fished with the big fishing net (giving no fishing experience). They also respawn south of the Edgeville bank and in Father Urhney's hut in the Lumbridge Swamp.

There was an infinite stock of them at Thessalia's Fine Clothes. Now there is only 10 in stock. Players who have completed the Digsite quest may obtain them from the tool rack in the Varrock Museum (but they will need to drop the gloves to obtain more than one).

The Canifis gloves are coloured versions of these gloves.

Leather gloves are the only kind of food that Creeping hands will eat.
