Leather armour is the lowest quality Ranged armour. There are no requirements to wear it, except the Coif, which requires 20 Ranged. All of the pieces can be made using the Crafting skill, and are made out of tanned cowhides. Leather armour is one of the main sources of low level crafting experience for F2P players, the other being Clay items. Due to over-production of these items, they are less profitable than the latter, the Grand Exchange price has dropped permanently to the Low alchemy prices respectively. Members also have the option to create Spiked vambraces by combining Kebbit claws and Leather vambraces with a crafting level of 32.

This type of armour is vulnerable to the stab Attack style. Players or monsters wielding daggers, swords, or longswords should be avoided.

StatsEdit

Unlike other soft-leather armour, a coif requires 20 Defence to wield, and is thus not included in the stat total. While they are 2 distinctly separate items, leather gloves and vambraces have the same stats.
