The Leaping Trout requires a fishing level of 48 as well as 15 strength and 15 agility to catch, providing 50 fishing experience, 5 strength experience, and 5 agility experience. It can only be caught with a Barbarian rod with feathers or bait after starting Barbarian Training. It cannot be cooked but can be used with a knife to cut it open for roe and/or fish offcuts, providing 10 cooking experience. The roe and offcuts serve as bait, so if you have high enough cooking level, and manage the cuts right, you can essentially have an endless supply of bait.
