King Vallance

King Vallance is the official ruler of Asgarnia and the father of Crown Prince Anlaf. However, he has not been seen for many years, due to poor health or other unspecified reasons. Vyvin claims that the White Knights are helping Vallance rule because he is getting "old and tired." Sir Amik Varze, leader of the White Knights, rules in his place. Theories as to why the king has not been seen for so many years abound, one of them is that the White Knights are not telling the complete truth, and may have murdered or imprisoned him in order to gain full control of Falador. It is likely that he may be involved in a future quest.

If the player talks to Denulth in Burthope after completing Troll Stronghold, he will tell the player that the White Knights took control of the 'old and weak king', which refers to King Vallance.
